Set your Table

I think it’s very hard to design a “beautiful table”: it doesn’t simply depend on the tools and the materials one uses, it also depends on a subtle, fragile, and uncertain insight which, sometimes, somebody—who knows how and who knows why—manages to channel into the design the total perception of our cosmic adventure, as fleeting, ineffable, and incomprehensible as it may be.
